The company Home & Table nv (hereinafter referred to as the company) believes the protection of your personal data is of great importance and that your privacy should be respected.

In this privacy statement we want to provide clear and transparent information about what data we collect and how we handle personal data. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and therefore handle your personal data with care. In all cases, the company complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

When providing this personal data, you are asked to give permission for the collection and processing of the personal data for management and analysis of the website, direct marketing and to keep you informed via newsletter or invitation.

Why do we process personal data

Your personal data is processed by the company for the following purposes and legal bases:

  1. To be able to participate in the activities of the company (e.g. Election Sommelier of the Year, campaigns and others) (execution of agreement)
  2. Sending newsletters and invitations (consent of the person concerned)

For the above purposes, we may request the following personal data from you:

Personal identity data: name, first name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, identification number actions, choice of article.

We only use the collected data for the purposes for which we obtained the data.

Disclosure to third parties

The companies may communicate your personal data to the companies themselves, its distributors and to service providers of the companies that provide services to the companies, any processing being carried out under the control of the companies for the purposes set out above. Retention period

The company does not store your personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided than is required by law. As a general rule, personal data is kept for a maximum of 5 years after last use. If you have made a purchase from the companies, your contact details for this purchase and other data necessary for the execution of this purchase agreement will be kept for 10 years or as long as the warranty on the product is running.

Data security

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, for example we have taken the following measures

  • All persons who can take cognizance of your data on behalf of the company are bound by their confidentiality,
  • We have a username and password policy on all our systems,
  • We make backups of the personal data in order to be able to restore it in the event of physical or technical incidents,
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures,
  • Our employees have been informed about the importance of the protection of personal data

You have the right to inspect and to correct and delete the personal data that we receive from you. At the top of this privacy statement you will find how you can contact us.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us immediately. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Commission, which is the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection.

Change of privacy statement
